Our awards + inauguration event this year will feature an elevated and early happy hour, complete with sips and snacks included with your ticket! Come at 3:30 pm to check in, get a drink and enjoy some grooves at The Clyde. Our program will start at 4 pm with an update on our yearly goals, our keynote speaker, awards presentation and inauguration of our new board for the 2024-25 year of NAWIC Coastal Georgia! We will have a photo wall so grab your buddies and pose for our favorite local photographer, Bunny Ware and her team. We will be unveiling a very special surprise for our members and friends at the event in addition to a design competition with winning design being produced by BiteMarks, the print shop at Woodville Tompkins High School.
Our keynote speaker is Victoria Saxton, president of the Savannah Small Business Assistance Corporation [SBAC]. Victoria will be sharing in her Keys to EmpowHER. Using her background in finance and working with entrepreneurs we are lucky to have her speak to our group and add her own story to ours!

ABOUT VIcTORIA SAXTON
Victoria Saxton is the President & CEO of the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC). In her role, she develops and designs programs to assist in future economic development activities for businesses and entrepreneurs. She has worked with SBAC for 9 years and has 15 years of work experience in accounting.
Victoria completed her BBA in Accounting at Savannah State University and received her Master of Accounting Degree (MAcc) at Georgia Southern University. She is a graduate of the Savannah Area Chamber Leadership Savannah Class of 2019-2020, serves on the City of Savannah Taskforce Subcommittee for Economic Empowerment and Wealth Development, and is a member of the Steering Committee for the first-ever minority-owned co-op, Ignite Advantage, in Savannah, GA. Victoria was also named one of Georgia Trend’s 40 under 40 award recipients for 2023.
ABOUT SBAC
SBAC is dedicated to providing professional small business support services to small businesses in the City of Savannah and surrounding area. We strive for socio-economic improvement for all citizens through the expansion of small businesses by systematic focus on equitable access to capital management assistance and business opportunities for all segments of our community. Through these efforts, we will create employment for low or moderate income people and revitalize low income communities.
PARKING
There is street parking available around the venue. Parking is also available at the Visitor’s Center parking lot which is just a short three block walk away. Savannah Civic Center parking lot is also about 6 blocks from the venue as well.
