We have leaned in to offer our members, friends and community a three part series for an unbelievable price. The investment to complete this work with a renewed facilitator will not be seen in these parts again! Come with an open mind, open heart and get ready to empowHER yourself and others to talk more knowledgeably about DE+I. Give yourself the gift of some new tools in your toolbox.
We are excited to have Valencia Muldrow with Alliance for Institutional Equity (AIE) reserved for a three part series on April 16, 23, and 30 from 5:30 -7:30 pm at The Clyde. We will be offering attendees a custom workbook for the series as well as drinks and a cheese board for the workshops to emulate a happy hour experience while we are also digging into this important work.
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
The AIE believes that empowerment through education, partnerships, peer-to-peer learning, and urgent action will lead to better community outcomes. Although the core of our expertise is in embedding equity on a systemic level, we tailor our training solutions to directly support the industry we serve.
Valencia Muldrow, Founder and CEO of AIE, is passionate about empowering business leaders to create more inclusive and effective work cultures. With over a decade of experience as a strategist, program facilitator, and curriculum designer, I have worked with over 300 colleges and universities, non-profits, and government agencies to promote Inclusive Excellence. As a Certified Diversity Executive and currently pursuing additional certifications in Data Analytics and Change Management, she has a track record of success in data analysis, policy and program development, and implementation. She has designed and executed robust multi-identity programming on a national scale, authored policies that established Employee Resource Groups and Campus Climate Support Teams, and mobilized alumni groups to provide more significant financial resources for marginalized students.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS
Valencia will employ a variety of tools, including self-awareness assessments, role playing exercises, and personal coaching, to assist workshop attendees in making necessary changes to become more inclusive of all people. The workshops will be hands-on, interactive and have potential to really shift outdated mindsets in an innovative and exciting way.
